What Is Ömür Usta About?

Ömür Uçar has spent years working in an auto repair shop after her husband abandoned her. Her main goal is simple: to provide her three children with a secure and respectable future.

Her youngest son, Mete, is a medical student who is ashamed of his family's financial situation. After falling in love with İpek, the daughter of a wealthy family, Mete hides his true identity and begins living a double life.

Meanwhile, Ömür's older son Cüneyt becomes involved in a dangerous situation, while her daughter Nazlı is forced to face an unexpected truth on her own.

Ömür's life takes another unexpected turn when she reconnects with Tunç Arıkan, a man she knew when she was younger. Tunç is İpek's father, and their reunion creates a connection between two very different worlds.

Ömür and Tunç's Story

Ömür and Tunç share a connection from the past that becomes important after they meet again years later.

Their unexpected reunion opens the door to a possible relationship, but Tunç's wife Nevra becomes a major obstacle. Nevra is determined to protect her family's reputation and control the world around her.

According to Ay Yapım's official series description, Ömür later receives a major lottery windfall. Instead of solving the family's problems, the new wealth threatens to expose the lies and secrets that the family has been hiding.

Episode 1 Story

The first episode introduces Ömür's difficult life after being abandoned by her husband. She continues working in the auto industry while taking care of her children.

Mete's relationship with İpek creates the first major family conflict because he is embarrassed by his mother's financial situation. He hides his background from İpek and starts maintaining two different identities.

At the same time, Cüneyt finds himself pulled into a dark situation, while Nazlı has to deal with an unexpected reality.

The biggest change comes when Ömür's path crosses with Tunç's again. Their past connection links her family with Tunç's wealthy world and creates new tension with Nevra.
