This gives the episode its emotional weight. We are not only watching action or danger. We are watching two people trying to hold on to each other while everything around them breaks apart.
A Dangerous Underground World
The title Yeralti means “Underground,” and Episode 1 makes that meaning clear. The story moves into a hidden world where power, loyalty, and betrayal matter more than rules.
MEDYAPIM describes the world of the episode as one where betrayal, loyalty, and survival are tested, and where one wrong step can bring deadly results.
Haydar Ali’s Inner Battle
Haydar Ali is not shown as a simple hero. He is a man carrying pain, anger, love, and guilt. His revenge may feel understandable, but it also traps him. Episode 1 begins his battle not only against enemies but also against his own darkness.
That is what makes the character interesting. He is strong, but he is not free. He loves deeply, but his choices put love in danger.
Ceylan’s Emotional Turning Point
Ceylan’s role is also important from the start. She is placed in a difficult emotional space. She wants to protect the man she loves, but that protection may force her to make choices she never expected.

Why Episode 1 Matters
The first episode works as the foundation of the whole series. It introduces the main relationship, the crime world, the emotional stakes, and the dangerous path ahead.
Viewers can expect a mix of romance, action, mystery, and family pain. The episode does not reveal everything at once. Instead, it opens many doors. We get enough to understand the main conflict, but many questions remain unanswered.
That is a smart start for a drama series. It gives viewers a reason to continue.
