Erkan accepted responsibility for Ferman's shooting in order to protect Dicle. He is now facing the consequences while Dicle continues fighting to get him released.
The official Episode 17 promotions point toward Erkan's freedom becoming Dicle's biggest concern. One of the second trailers carries the message that her greatest happiness would be Erkan's freedom, while the latest promotional material continues to build tension around their relationship.
Inside prison, Erkan has already met Ali Cabbar, a mysterious prisoner who may become important to his story.
At the same time, Dicle faces pressure from the Aldur family as she tries to protect Erkan and deal with the consequences of Ferman's condition.
Episode 16 Recap
Episode 16 opened the second season with a major crisis.
Erkan was arrested after taking responsibility for Ferman being shot. He was taken to Istanbul and faced legal proceedings.
Ferman's condition remained critical, and he needed an urgent kidney transplant. His transfer to an Istanbul hospital brought the entire Aldur family into a desperate search for a suitable donor.
Meanwhile, Tahir discovered important information about Erkan and used it to pressure İnci. With Erkan in prison, Tahir also moved forward with his plan to take control of the company.
Another major revelation concerned Feride Öğretmen, whose real identity was revealed as Derya, Dicle's older sister. Tahir and the rest of the Aldur family learned the truth, although they still did not understand everything behind Erkan's actions.
Derya remained frightened and distant because she feared Ferman's recovery and the return of people connected to her past.
Civan secretly started a dangerous plan to help Dicle and Erkan reunite and to protect Derya. Only Nilüfer knew about his decision.
Meanwhile, Erkan struggled with prison life and received unexpected support from a prisoner named Ali. Erkan, however, did not yet know Ali's real identity or his hidden plans.
Dicle tried every possible way to secure Erkan's release, but none of her efforts succeeded. By the end of the episode, she was facing a decision that could change everything.
Erkan and Dicle's Relationship
Erkan's sacrifice has placed his relationship with Dicle under enormous pressure.
He went to prison to protect her, while Dicle is now determined to do everything she can to bring him home.
The new season's official promotion emphasizes Dicle's determination, including her insistence that she will not give up because her husband needs her.
Episode 17 is therefore likely to keep their relationship at the emotional center of the story while the legal and family conflicts continue.
Erkan's Life in Prison
Erkan's prison storyline is becoming another important part of the series.
His meeting with Ali Cabbar, played by Alper Çankaya, introduces a new character whose intentions are not yet completely clear.
The official second-season promotion describes Ali as a mysterious prisoner, suggesting that his connection with Erkan could become significant as the story develops.
Dicle's Fight for Erkan
Dicle is not willing to accept Erkan's imprisonment.
After her previous attempts to help him fail, she reaches a difficult point where she has to consider a much bigger decision.
Episode 17 will continue this struggle and show how far Dicle is prepared to go to bring Erkan back.
Derya's Secret
Derya's true identity has now become known to the Aldur family.
She is actually Dicle's older sister, Derya, and the revelation creates another layer of tension around Ferman and the family's past.
Derya wants to protect herself and Dicle, but the people connected to her past could make that increasingly difficult.
